The Caldwell Board of REALTORS® (CBOR) is proud to support graduating high school seniors in their pursuit of higher education. Our scholarship program is designed to provide financial assistance to students from the CBOR-designated areas who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement.

Requirements

Scholarship Details

  • Deadline for Applications: February 21, 2025
    (Mailed applications must be postmarked no later than this date.)

  • Eligibility Requirements:

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

    • Must be a graduating high school senior from one of the CBOR-designated schools.

    • Must have applied for admission to a post-secondary education program.

    • Must reside in the CBOR-designated area.

  • Designated Schools:

    • Caldwell, Canyon Springs, Elevate Academy, Gem State Academy, Greenleaf Friends Academy, Homedale, Marsing, Middleton, Notus, Parma, Thomas Jefferson Charter, Vallivue, Ridgevue, Vision Charter, Wilder, Centennial Baptist, and Casa programs.

Application Process

  • Submit a 1-Minute Video: Addressing the topic of "Home Ownership and Affordability in America."

  • Provide a Letter of Recommendation: From a teacher, principal, counselor, or administrator detailing your leadership, character, and personal traits.

  • Complete the Application Form: Including your personal details, community involvement, and career plans.

  • Submit All Materials: Via email to scholarships@caldwellboardofrealtors.com or mail to:

Award Details

  • Scholarships will be disbursed upon receiving proof of first-semester college transcripts and second-semester enrollment.

  • Winners will be notified by March 7, 2025.

  • The awards will be presented at the CBOR Bingo Scholarship Fundraising Dinner on April 9, 2025, at the Elks Lodge in Caldwell.
